Ingredients (Serves 2):
- 2 ribeye steaks (3cm thick).
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise.
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt.
- ½ tsp black pepper.
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme.
- 3 tbsp butter.
Steps:
- Prep: Let steaks rest at room temp for 30 minutes.
- Coat: Brush steaks with mayo; season with salt and pepper.
- Sear:
- Heat skillet on high. Cook steaks 3 minutes per side.
- Add butter and thyme; baste steaks for 1 minute.
